Except our individual plan line, all of our web hosting plans are based on individual domain names. Our services can be used with all the standard top level domains (ending with .com, .net, .org, .biz, .info, .name), as well as with any international (country specific) domain name, such as .ca, .gb, .fr, .nz or .jp, provided you are eligible to use these domain names.

Registering a domain name is extremely simple. All you have to do is filling our on-line registration form. As soon as we receive your form, we launch the registration process, and you will be able to use your new domain name within 24 hours.

There is no geographical or other limitation on the use of these standard domain names: you can use a .com, .net, .org, .biz or .info domain name independently of your home address or the location of your server.

So if you are in a hurry, you can launch a working web site in less than two days using the standard top level domain names. As registering a country specific domain name can take significantly more time, you are advised to start your web site with one or more standard domain names. If you wish, you can point one or more country specific domain names to the same site later.

What to do if your previous registrar asked $70.00 for registering your domain name, and a similarly high amount is requested for your domain name renewal? We can take over your domain name at any time. This process is called a transfer, and Blue Host Networks asks you a one-year registration fee for such a transaction. Your domain name will be renewed for a full year beginning from the original expry date.

For example, if you regsitered your domain name in December, 2001, and you ask us to transfer your domain name to Blue Host Network in May, 2003, you will be eligible to use your domain name for one full year starting from the original expiry date (December, 2003). The next renewal will be on December, 2004 only.

If you have your own domain name, and you wish to use it for your web site, you can use it without any extra fee for your Blue Host account. But if you don't have a domain name, you have to register a domain name before you can use our service. We can register your domain name for as low as $20.00. If the domain name is free, you should act as soon as possible: you are advised to start the registration process immediately. We will register your domain name immediately, and you will be able to use ir in 24 hours. You can launch the registration process from our on-line order form.

Blue Host Network can register your top level domain name (.com, .net, .org, .biz or .info) for as low as $20.00. Renewals are handled for the same price.

This price is a yearly fee, it includes registration or transfer, as well as managing your domain name for a full year.
